Don Listwin Joins Robin Systems Board of Directors

SAN JOSE, Calif., July 21, 2016 — Robin Systems, industry’s first container-based virtualization platform software company, today announced the addition of Don Listwin to the company’s board of directors. Listwin, an experienced technology veteran, joins Chairman Rajeev Madhavan, Chief Executive Officer Premal Buch and Steve Schlenker on the Robin board.

“Don brings perspective honed from years in operational, advisory and investor roles at some iconic technology companies,” Madhavan said. “As Robin’s growth accelerates Don’s experience will be a great asset in helping us scale with enterprise adoption of our application-defined data center software.”

Listwin served as an executive vice president at Cisco Systems, where he spent 10 years. His career also includes serving as CEO of Sana Security and CEO of Openwave. Listwin has served as board member and adviser to numerous companies, and presently is chairman of Calix, a provider of innovative access systems, and of Teradici, a leader in the creation of virtual workspaces. He serves on the boards of D-Wave Systems, PLUMgrid and Violin Memory, and is an adviser to the Canadian development bank BDC and to cyber security company Bugcrowd.

In 2004 Listwin founded the Canary Foundation, dedicated to the early detection of cancer, and he is also a consulting professor at the Stanford University School of Medicine.
